Thinking of posting reviews of best electric toothbrushes for 2014

A lot has changed since I’ve updated this website. In fact, it’s been few years since the last time I made any new posts, so I’m thinking maybe to prepare something, but who knows :).

The thing worth mentioning is Ultreo toothbrushes are being manufactured again. This means they are much cheaper to what they used to be just few years ago. Same goes for refills. What does it mean to Sonicare and Oral B’s Triumph is there are alternatives.

I guess plenty of electric toothbrush research and exploration is needed before providing more constructive, advanced information about the best units in 2014.

For now I suggest to look at old info and checkout some helpful tips.

Whiten Your Teeth with the Best Electric Toothbrush

Best Electric Toothbrush will give you cleaner teeth, whiter smile and that fresh feeling. With so many electric toothbrushes available nowadays, it can be hard to choose the one that will really do the job. But, there are three not only worth mentioning, they’re way beyond it. These must haves are Philips Sonicare Flexcare, Oral-B Triumph 9900 and Ultreo Ultarsound Toothbrush. Three absolutely brilliant products and you only need one, the best one.

Oral B 9900 electric toothbrush whitens your teeth in just 21 days by gently removing surface stains. Ultreo Ultrasound uses advanced technology and needs only 14 days to do the same job(clinically proven). Not only that, in a recent study 8 out of 10 people were so impressed that they would switch to this one from their current electric toothbrush. At last, Sonicare Flexcare, packed with great features like UV Sanitizer that protects the brush heads against bacteria. According to studies this model significantly reduces gingivitis.

Sonicare vs Ultreo vs Oral B

Okay, so you already know some of the features of these toothbrushes, but to better understand the difference, I’ve decided to compare the top three - Philips Sonicare Flexcare RS930, Oral B Triumph 9900 and Ultreo Ultrasound.

Round one - teeth whitening
When it comes to the speed of whitening teeth, ultreo sends the competition home. They claim it could be as little as 14 days. I was not able to obtain such information for Sonicare, but I guess if they don’t make any statements the answer is obvious. Although these electric toothbrushes will make your smile brighter, don’t expect them to do as good job as whitening strips.

Round two - best feature
Technology - again ultreo seems to be the winner. The features like smart guide on Oral B are great, but if you use ultrasounds to brush your teeth, that itself sounds like a breakthrough.

Round three - customer rating
Customer Rating - this is based on amazon customer reviews. It looks like the number one recommended brand(philips sonicare) by dental pros could as well be the number one for recommended by customers.

Round four - regular price
Price - Sonicare is the most expensive, but when they are on sale, it can be a whole lot of different story(you’ll find the best prices below the comparisons).

Round five - brush head
Brush Heads should be replaced every 3 to 4 months. So if saving money is important to you, this is something you definitely should take a look at, as this could cost you a lot more in a long run.

best electric toothbrush
The winner! The best electric toothbrush is: If price and opinions are important go with sonicare or oral b. Otherwise…

overall - technology, whitening
Ultreo will be the perfect choice for you .

Does $22 off sound good? Only if you want to buy the Oral B Triumph 9900

Otherwise you’re going to save much more!!! Up to $50.
Philips Sonicare FlexCare will save you - $50.00 savings (28% off regular price)

But that’s not all. They give you free shipping option Is this crazy or what? So, just to sum it up, if you need the best electric toothbrush, now is the time to buy it really cheap!

Have no idea what Ultreo Ultrasound is? Watch this movie. It’s a little bit long(around 9 minutes) but you’ll be amazed by the new technology the Ultreo Ultrasound uses.

Keep in mind that what may be the best for some, doesn’t guarantee falling in love with the product yourself. Above, you’re presented with links to these toothbrushes from amazon so that you can not only read the reviews and opinions of hundreds of people who bought and used these products but also buy them at cheaper prices from a reliable source.

WSJ announced on July 8, 2009, Ultreo is out of business. Getting the replacement brushes is nearly impossible. Amazon is selling ONE brush for $78.00! My own dentist (who I bought the Ultreo from) is selling them for $44.00 each! That’s double what I paid a few months ago. What a rip. I’ll be buying either an Oral B or a Sonic Care and hope they stay in business. I also bought the Ultreo for my mom as a present so we are both out of luck (and me out of $$$).

WSJ, July 6, 2009: Ultreo Inc., Redmond, Wash. - The company, which made a battery-powered toothbrush that used ultrasound waveguide and sonic bristles, has shut down after failing to find an interested investor or buyer. Ultreo raised a total of $28.1 million in venture capital, including an $11.3 million round in May 2007, VentureWire records show. Its venture investors included Polaris Venture Partners.

You’d think that this site would mention the fact that Ultreo is out of business and that the brush heads are no longer manufactured (meaning that they now cost more than the full toothbrush kit). I would suspect that this site was just a shill for Ultreo, but apparently the didn’t even have enough cash to pay for the hosting on their own site.
